We've been receiving questions about clothing guidelines for the wedding. In general, we would like for everyone to be dressed in semi-formal attire. This means...
Clothing is not optional,
Jackets and ties are.
Dresses would be nice,
Bright colors would go far.
Although it's California,
Listen when you're told.
Bring something to keep you warm,
At night it does get COLD!!!

Seriously, we know you may think that California is all sunshine and surfboards, but the dry air does not hold the daytime heat and so it cools down significantly in the evening - especially at the wedding venue because it's up in the hills and woods. The temperature has been known to drop as low as 55 degrees F (12.5 C) in past years. Be prepared ...and pretty!!

Invitations Sent
Exalted guest of Jeanne and Robby's Wedding Extravaganza!
We are delighted that you have decided to stop by our blog. This must mean that you have received the invitation ...and read it. Bravo!!
Last week, Jeanne and I helped chaperon a trip to NYC with the Paly journalism students. Our relationship survived our first flight together, so don't worry, we're still getting married. That means that now you can send your RSVP card! :) Or you can wait till tax day (or even a few days later - no biggie).
Speaking of, did you know that the IRS sends out 8 billion pages of forms and instructions each year? Laid end to end, they would stretch 28 times around the earth. Good thing you can save a tree and RSVP by email!!

ps
yes, I know that the rsvp card is already printed and so you wouldn't be saving a tree by rsvping through email, but 1) perhaps you could use that card as a substitute for another paper-dependent activity, such as making a paper airplane, and hence save a tree, and 2) I like email more.
